How to Join

MagicalDreams can be joined using the PC (Java Edition) version of Minecraft.

You can log in with Minecraft version 1.14.4

  1. Click on 'Multiplayer'

  2. Click 'Add Server'

  3. Enter 'MagicalDreams' for the name and 'magicaldreams.us' for the server address.

  4. Make sure server resource packs are set to enabled.

  5. Save and click join server.

What is MagicalDreams?

We are a community-based Theme Park Minecraft server dedicated to recreating the magic of Disney while providing the safest, most family-friendly environment anywhere.

How can I get onto the server?

MagicalDreams is currently available for the PC version of MineCraft. To visit, open Minecraft. Next, click on "Multiplayer" (on the main menu). Now, click the "Add a Server" button and type "magicaldreams.us" for the IP.

What can I do here?

Just like the real Disney Parks, you are able to enjoy immersive rides & attractions, meet characters (and get their autographs), watch our many shows (including choreographed Fireworks Shows synched to music), eat in restaurants, stay at resorts and much more. You have to explore to find all the hidden gems.

Where are the attractions?

You can visit them by walking or ‘warping’ to them. You will find the complete list of ‘warps’ here on our website or you can type /warps in the Parks.

Where can I get food?

Walk to or warp to any restaurant or food cart while visiting our parks.

Are there any resource packs and are they required?

You will have the best possible experience if you have our current resource pack installed. You can obtain them in game or here on the website.

Is MagicalDreams available on other versions of Minecraft?

Not at this time. This is a limitation of Minecraft and not MagicalDreams. The PC version of the game does not connect the same network as XBOX, Playstation or Realms.

Why did it say I was swearing when I wasn't?

Our NoSwear Plugin is purposely sensitive. In order to better protect our Guests, it will sometimes filter out words that aren’t swears. Please understand that chat is always moderated, 24 hours a day, and any infraction is dealt with if it is real. Otherwise, we ask that you not worry and just continue to enjoy the parks!

Safety, Courtesy, Show and Efficiency. Our Four Keys are an integral part of our professions across MagicalDreams. Each Key is essential, and together they guarantee an exceptional Guest experience.

Key #1 – Safety

The Keys appear in a specific order to remind us that Safety must be the priority in every decision we take and must never be sacrificed for another key.

Key #2 – Courtesy

Because Cast Members play a major role in the MagicalDreams experience, Courtesy must be at the heart of our contact with Guests as well as with colleagues and partners.

Key #3 – Show

It breathes life into the stories we tell our Guests. The Show Key also applies backstage, where each of us contributes, directly or indirectly, to the Guest experience.

Key #4 – Efficiency

By managing our activity efficiently, events run smoothly and we avoid unnecessary inconveniences for our Guests, colleagues and professional partners.

Server Guidelines

All guidelines and policies apply to all MagicalDreams entities. All guidelines and policies apply to anything regarding or done on our server, all forums, threads, posts, private messages, userpages, profiles, avatars and signatures. Please read careful as there is no valid reason for violating any policy with the excuse “I didn’t know it was a policy.” or “I didn’t think that was the meaning of that rule.”. Ignorance of the rules is never acceptable. If you are questioning yourself on whether or not your actions are in violation of the server rules then, you should refrain from doing that action and ask an Admin or Moderator before proceeding. Keep in mind that Moderators/Administrators have final say about what happens on this server and their decisions are are final. By logging into our server or using our website forums, you are automatically binded to the Server Guidelines indefinitely.

Inappropriate/Non G-Rated discussions

Posts which contains subjects such as: foul language/cussing, nudity and sex, violence, drug or alcohol use (or any other illegal substance), etc., and/or that may be offensive to parents of younger children, will be removed immediately. This includes foul language, inappropriate pictures or external webserver links that may be inappropriate for children. If you are uncertain as to whether a certain word, image, or link is allowed, contact a moderator or administrator before adding it to this server. This applies to all of our servers and forums, threads, posts, private messages, userpages, profiles, avatars and signatures.

Personal Information

This server has children present therefore asking for or volunteering personal information is not allowed. Personal Info consists of Real Life Names, Gender, Location, Email Address exchanges, Instant messenger ID’s, Password/Account Information, School Information and other similar details. This also applies to posting personal pictures of the Guests, their schools, homes (that include their exact locations), etc. This includes posting this information through Private Messages. We here at MagicalDreams strive to keep the environment as safe as possible for our Guests.

Flaming

Any posts that are hateful or mean in nature will be removed immediately. We do not tolerate attacks based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or political affiliation or any posts indicating grieving other Guests on the forums or in game. No personal threats or harassment. This includes posting pictures representing an attack. Debate opinions and not the people behind them. Naming people or their characters in negative light is not permitted. That person is not able to defend themselves or their actions and what seems like an inappropriate action, which can often be a simple misunderstanding, can lead to a negative reaction against that person (avoidance, revenge). If someone griefs you in the game, report it to a Staff or Report the user immediately . If someone griefs you on this server, PM an admin or moderator or report their posts.

Trolling

Intentionally posting false arguments, flames or personal attacks for no other purpose than to incite a negative reaction, annoy others or disrupt a discussion is also prohibited. These perpetrators are known as “trolls”.

Highly Controversial Topics

These conversations tend to lead to violent outbursts based on strong personal beliefs. Posts which contain political commentary, religious or other highly controversial topics will be removed and action will be taken depending on the severity. These topics may (but are not limited to) contain beliefs/opinions on religion, political subject matter (i.e., new governmental laws, candidates, etc.), abortion, sexual orientation and/or highly controversial current events.

Spamming

“Spam” refers to saying identical (or very close to identical) and/or irrelevant messages in chat repeatedly. Doing so is in violation of these guidelines and will result in administrative action.

Advertising

Whether for personal gain or for private use, personal web servers, personal message boards, and servers which are not endorsed by MagicalDreams are not to be posted anywhere in chat, as we are unable to maintain the level of their content, which may or may not be suitable for children.

Impersonation of other Users & Staff

Creating accounts on the server with similar names of existing Guests or staff from MagicalDreams in order to cause chaos or misconceptions towards that person is not allowed and it can lead to permanent suspension from the server.

Multiple / Sharing Accounts

Members are only allowed one username per person in a household and are strongly discouraged from sharing accounts with other family members and / or friends. In terms of guideline violations, moderators/administrators may track multiple shared accounts from single or multiple computers as one account. If a guideline violation is severe enough, it may become necessary to ban/delete one or all of the usernames on the same computer, depending on the severity. You are responsible for anyone and everyone who uses your account and/or accesses other accounts from your computer.

The actions of one person could easily directly impact all known shared message board accounts.

**NOTE: This does not apply to Admins/Moderators, we sometimes need multiple accounts to test technical issues that come up from various user levels and to do that properly it requires us to create “test” accounts.

Moderators and Administration

Moderators and administrators of these servers monitor your compliance with the rules of the server and dispense disciplinary action at their discretion. Disciplinary decisions may be appealed through the Appeal Procedure. All Appeals are to be sent at https://magicaldreams.us/help/appeal/

Any posts containing inappropriate content will either be edited or removed from the forums and posting such Words/Phrases/Content after being warned can result in being suspended from MagicalDreams for a given amount of time defined by the infraction and the Moderators. If you are consistent about posting this sort of content after you have been warned you will be permanently suspended from the server.

Forum infractions may result in actions being taken that can range from written warnings to temporary suspension to permanent suspension depending on the severity and frequency of the offense.

Attempting to bypass a suspension by accessing the forums with another account will result in a permanent, immediate suspension.

Forum infractions may result in immediate actions being taken that can range from written warnings, temporary suspension or permanent suspension from this server, depending on the severity and frequency of the offense:

Swearing or Cussing – profane or obscene language, usually of surprise or anger.

R or X-rated material (picture or webserver) – Pornographic material deemed inappropriate for children and most adults.

Violence – is any attitude, word, or action that threatens or destroys the human dignity of a human person or groups of persons.

Reporting

If you see anything questionable or another member is getting out of hand, please head over to https://magicaldreams.us/help/report/ and fill out the form. Please include a brief message stating who the person is & what they did specifically. If possible, provide us with a screen shot, and or link to the offending post. Do not take matters into your own hands by replying, PMing, or scolding a person. Please send only one report per offense. An email will be sent to our mods for review and it will be dealt with as soon as possible.

Server Contributions

We greatly appreciate the support our Guests voluntarily wish to give us for providing a great server for a world we all enjoy. Contributions to the server are a donation, it is not a payment. We have provided Guests with extra features/perks for contributing as a courtesy and a “thank you for your contribution” but other than that it is a donation. We generally do not refund contributions, but if you have a valid reason feel free to get in contact with us. If a user decides not to use the features/perks or decides to quit the server or violates the policies of the server and loses their account, it has nothing to do with their contribution.

We do not let contributions or seniority dictate to or influence us on the decisions that are made in keeping this server fun and safe for all of our members.

Please also note that contributing to the server will not help you become a Cast Member, and will not grant you early access unless otherwise stated.
